Green Roof Over Entry and Bathroom

We liked the living roof over the bathroom so much we decided to retrofit the entry roof to give the front of the studio the same look. It took a bit of reinforcing and a piece of EPDM membrane to prepare the space. I went up to Emory Knoll Farms for the sedums. They can set you up for any climate zone. Then I stopped by Stancill's pit in Perryville, MD to get the special growing medium.

I see your roof is made of tin. Wonder what material to use to dye it for I also live in a house with a tin roof?

The building on the right with the gray roof is actually not tin but a material made from recycled paper and asphalt emulsion called Ondura.Available at Lowe's.
The one on the left is a standing seam metal roof.
